I am an eleven year veteran of the Hydrographic Surveying branch of the British Royal Navy.  Having completed my service time I joined Schlumberger Ltd., the leader in the oilfield services industry, from where I recently retired after thirty years.  I have lived in Houston for more than thirty years, became a U.S. citizen nearly twenty years ago, am married to a Texan, and have two grown children, One is an Aggie and the other a Razorback.
